The White House has been the home of the Obamas since 2009. Washington D.C. is the capital of The United States. It is located in the Eastern region of the United States. The White House is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, due to a conflict between Hamilton and Jefferson and has been remodeled by numerous presidents for no real reason, but the West wing was reconstructed as result of a fire during the War of 1812.  Washington, D.C. The mayor is currently Vincent C. Gray. Millions of people visit the capital and The White House a year.
